Data storage
Orai Tau does NOT store personal data on servers. All information is handled locally in your browser:
- Preferences stored in your browser's localStorage: theme, language and dashboard layout
- We do not collect, store or process personal data on our servers
Third-party services that MAY process data:
Data processed by third parties
- OpenStreetMap/Nominatim: Your IP address and location coordinates to provide place names and base maps
- Google Analytics: Anonymous navigation data for website usage analytics
- LHMT, Open-Meteo, RainViewer: only receive geographic coordinates to return weather data. No personally identifiable information is stored.
Purpose
- Show accurate weather information for locations in Lithuania
- Remember your display preferences (only in your browser)
- Understand how the site is used to improve it (via Google Analytics)
- We do not use your data for commercial purposes nor share it with third parties beyond the necessary technical services mentioned
Control of your data
- You can delete all data stored in your browser from your browser settings (clear site data / localStorage)
- Since we do not store personal data on our servers, access, rectification or deletion procedures do not apply. Everything is under your local control.
- You can use content blockers to prevent third-party services from processing your data
- For data processed by third parties ( OpenStreetMap, Google Analytics), please consult their respective privacy policies
